Writing Instructor

Part-Time: 4-10 hours per week.
Rate: $18-20 / hour 

Description: DIA is looking for a writing instructor that can teach a variety of writing curriculums to students in middle school through college. A qualified applicant should have a Masters Degree in English, Journalism, or have extensive experience in a relevant field where writing is the primary focus. In addition, a qualified applicant must be highly organized. At least 5 years of previous teaching experience is required. All instruction is administered in a 1-on-1 environment.

DIA Remediation Therapist

Part-Time: 4-10 hours per week.
Rate: $18-20 / hour 

Description: Do you have what it takes to help students with Dyslexia and/or ADD overcome their difficulties in literacy and improve their executive function skills?  A DIA Remediation Therapist needs to draw upon multiple disciplines and be a creative, be an out-of-the-box thinker and possess great motivation skills, while at the same time use their vast experience teaching literacy (e.g., phonics, word structure, reading fluency) to help students with Dyslexia and/or ADD become independent learners. A qualified applicant should have a Masters Degree in Special Education with prior, substantial experience and/or certification in one or more specific reading intervention programs, and be fluent in the phonetic structure of the English language. In addition, a qualified applicant must be highly organized. Qualified applicants will receive extensive training in DIA's remediation program, which is the exclusively used within our clinics. All instruction is administered in a 1-on-1 environment.
